Congratulations to Central’s Marketing and Communications team Larry Mattox, Kory Bowman and Ivy Swan for their recent accomplishments at the “AMP Awards,” the annual member relations, marketing and communications contest sponsored by the Oklahoma Association of Electric Cooperatives and Oklahoma Living magazine.

Central received the Top Communicator Award for outstanding communications in 2023. The co-op also received an Award of Excellence for the following:

• Annual report

• Empowered newsletter

• Orange bucket Annual Meeting attendance gifts

• Annual Meeting Marketing

• Community outreach marketing with Operation Round Up and the Central Community Foundation

• Photography

The co-op received an award of merit for its Annual Meeting publication and its “The Wild World of Lost Creek Safari” member spotlight.

The annual AMP Awards program recognizes the best communication and marketing efforts by Oklahoma’s rural electric cooperatives.

Noted professionals in the fields of marketing, design, communication and photography judged the event, which uses a detailed scoring system to determine the winners.
