Perry Schools will host their annual Veterans Day Assembly honoring all Veterans, honoring those veterans who attend. Parents, families, and community members are invited to attend

Veterans Day Celebration
Stephenson Park, 431 S. Blvd., Edmond
November 11, 2024 • 4:30 - 6 p.m.
The Edmond Veterans Memorial Advisory Committee and Edmond History Museum are partnering in this annual Veterans Day ceremony at the newly-remodeled Stephenson Park. Speakers Mayor Davis and Senator Pugh will speak and guests will enjoy an octet singing the National Anthem and a children's choir. Bring blanket and/or lawn chairs as we honor our Veterans.

 

Veterans Day 5k
Mitch Park YMCA, 2901 Marilyn Williams Dr., Edmond
November 11, 2024 • 2-4 p.m.
You're invited to lead the charge this Veterans Day at Mitch Park in Edmond, OK. The festivities begin with the UCO Cologuard at 1:40 p.m. before "on your marks" at 1:55 PM for the Kid's One Mile Fun/Run and 2 p.m. for the 5K. After earning your medal relax with Hideaway Pizza or snacks, beverages, inflatables, and live entertainment.

The Code Switch: Lunch and Learn

This presentation will provide participants with tips tricks and hacks for making the mental switch from Military to Civilian life. We will cover some of the biggest challenges in deciding which military thought patterns and processes to take with you and which ones to leave behind!
